Students get into the world of Art by analysing the content of a painting: whether it describes a historical fact, an ancient, philosophical or literary myth or any story related to science. First we listen to an expertise describing a picture at the National Gallery. Then they choose a painting and research on the story described to tell their class mates. I work with the history teacher in a cross-curricular approach.
Listen to this amazing girl describing a painting using her incredible imagination. Do the same with your favourite painting. You can find paintings at the webs of the Prado or Reina Sofía Museums in Madrid or any other around the world.
